I previewed both books but have also heard some good/bad comments about Rachael Ray’s cookbook. I like them both and enjoy watching them. But, are the meals easy to prepare?

I like Rachael Ray’s cooking better than Sandra Lee, by and large. SL uses a lot of prepackaged seasoning mixes, marinades, and sauces, whereas RR tells you how to make your own seasoning blend w/ what you have in the kicthen. And RR uses fresher ingreidnets and time-tested cooking methods to add falvor.

Sandra Lee’s meals are easy, but are often not healthy. She uses a lot of pre-packaged things that are not very healthy & are not always the best tasting. Rachel Ray keeps her recipes simple using a limited number of ingredients, but she tends to use more fresh ingredients, so her food is healthier & tastier. I say go with her.

I would rather choose Sandra’s cuz she’s more creative with her cooking, and if you want 30 min. meals go to wal-mart and warm somethin’ up.

Rachael Ray’s is the best in my opinion because her recipes are fresh, hardly fattening, and fun to make. I got 2 of her cookbooks for Christmas and I have made so many things and they were awesome. Sandra Lee uses alot of prepackaged things that aren’t healthy for you and don’t taste as fresh. Go with Rachael!

I would prefer Rachael Ray (Love her five minute fudge) but I have quit buying books. There are thousands of wonderful free recipes on the Internet.

i used RR recipes and they did not turn out that good. they were
fast and easy, but not that tasty. i prefer SL because she uses
alot of items i already have and you just have to enhance them.
i like to watch RR but would rather eat SL

i enjoy both of them but i would say go w/the sandra lee cookbooks. i adore RR but i think a lot of her recipes call for things that you cant find or are a lil on the pricey side and if you are on a budget that sucks. the great thing about sandra lee and her recipes is a lot of the sauces & mixes you can find at everyday stores like walmart.
