Where is the restaurant Rachael Ray raved about in New York about chocolate?
There is this famous restuarant that is famous for their chocolate of all kinds and I am trying to find the name.
Rachael Ray did a show one day when she did her traveling through New York and I can’t remember the name.
Please help.

If you’re taking advice for food from Rachel Ray don’t expect to be wowed…

Chocolate Bar
Boxed chocolates, T-shirts and chocolate drinks for grown-up tastes. (48 Eighth Ave., chocolatebarnyc.com, 212-367-7181)
Jacques Torres Chocolate Haven
Watch chocolates being made before your eyes while you dip chocolate lollies into cups of cocoa and spin into sugar overdrive. (350 Hudson St., mrchocolate.com, 212-414-2462)
Vosges Haut-Chocolat
Cocoa with attitude. Have a cup. I like the hot cocoa with chipotle and the chocolate bar with curry. Just try it—you’ll more than like it. This candy is one sexy gift, too! (132 Spring St., vosgeschocolate.com, 888-301-9866)
Actually, these are one of the areas that I actually agree with Ms. Ray, also there is Marie Belle in Soho, 484 Broome Street that has boxed chocolate, hot chocolate and a cafe. It has amazing Aztec hot chocolate.

I agree with Canario - since I wasn’t at all impressed with Max Brenner, the Bald Man, Rachel probably loved it.
Rachel probably thinks Dylan’s Candy Bar on 60th and Lexington sells great chocolates.
There are many excellent chocolate shops in New York, very few can be described as “restaurants”.
Looking for a good chocolate shop (no restaurant - just chocolates) try Li-Lac, Teuscher on 61st and Madison (phenomenal - expensive, but one of the best chocolates I’ve ever had), Martines (I’ve gotten them at Bloomingdales) and, if you are a marzipan lover, I get weak in the knees when I think about Evelyn’s on John Street in the financial district (not very expensive - they also have the best chocolate covered marshmallows)

I think it might have been Serendipity.
