Rachel Ray Cookware

By Rachel Ray

Darn it! Why couldn’t I have waited two years to get married! I could have gotten Rachael Ray cookware! You may have noticed Rachael cooking with these on her new talk show and she has given a couple sets away to guests, too.

While Amazon only has some of the cookware line,Linens N’ Things seems to have all of it, including hard anodized, cast iron and enamel cookware in orange and blue. There are a ton of options. We’re talking pots and pans, fondue sets, a grill pan, and a commercial skillet. There’s even one called “Skillet w/Cast Iron Sammy Press.” That one cracks me up. I might have to buy it just because it has a “sammy press.” There are so many new products that I can’t even list them all. I am going to have to make some serious room in my kitchen for all this stuff.

According to one press release, “the hard-anodized nonstick collection features Ray’s specially designed oval-shaped pans, including a stockpot, a saute pan, and a griddle. She came up with this shape so that a stove can accommodate multiple large pans.” The press release also offers some details on the construction of the pots and pans:

The line features a restaurant-tested nonstick surface and has flared rims for strength and drip-free pouring. Lids are see-through glass and handles feature combination stainless steel and silicone grips in a choice of orange and charcoal grey. Ray’s cast iron cookware has a porcelain exterior to prevent rusting and reaction with foods. There is also a line of tools and gadgets, including spatulas, spoons, turners, measuring cups, a timer, corkscrew, and an oversized coaster-trivet.

When discussing the cookware line, Rachael said: “It has to be fun, fashionable, and help cooks succeed in their homes,” she said. “At the same time, it has to be of the highest quality, while also providing a good value.” The manufacturer is the same one that did Rachael’s Anolon Advanced line.

Feel free to check the cookware line out in the Everything Rachael Ray store!

The Success Journey

It all started in 2001 when the Food Network and Today Show got a glimpse of Rachael Ray cooking scrumptious dishes within no time. These dishes were easy to prepare and nutritious. The Food Network was so impressed by her culinary skills that they made Ray’s casual approach to food a hot cooking trend nationwide through her show titled “30 Minute Meals.” This household cooking guide brought steaming hot success as a multimillion dollar brand, plus 4 super hit Food Network shows.

This was not all. Rachael Ray cooking persona sold a whopping 12 million copies of her 13 cookbooks that were already best-sellers. This was accompanied by a self-titled monthly magazine, plus a daily talk show that won an Emmy.

Secrets Of Rachael Ray

  • Rachael Ray’s signature phrases “Stoups” for stew soups, “Sammie” for sandwich, and “EVOO” for extra virgin olive oil has created waves. The last one has been included in the Oxford American Dictionary 2007 edition.
  • The only ingredient that Ray DOES NOT use in her recipes is mayonnaise.
  • Ray hates facelifts. Even if she got a week off, she’d never go under the knife.
  • Her most embarrassing moments on Food Network, according to her “confession” in Entertainment Weekly, was when she burnt her hair from both sides by her own birthday cake candles.

Rachael Ray is a cooking sensation. She has many cookbooks, magazines, and television shows to her credit; and this is all when she has not learnt cooking from any institute! Also, her cooking is for the common, everyday meal time, not the exotic types that you eat once in a while.
